The packing of metal flat ring bulk tower is suitable for the phase of relative liquid-liquid flow movement to reduce the agglomeration of dispersed droplets. The symmetrical curved arc fin mode will have a good influence on the flow uniformity of the liquid, promote the dispersion cycle, convergence and the agglomeration of re-dispersed droplets, reduce the axial backmixing of the packing layer, and improve the mass transfer efficiency between liquid and liquid. Therefore, the packing has good technical and cost impact in liquid-liquid mass transfer extraction process.
● The symmetrical and uniform inner curved curved bars can promote the dispersion-gathering and re-dispersion-cycle of droplet group, reduce the axial backmixing in the packing layer, thus improving the mass transfer performance between liquid and liquid.
● This kind of packing is used for liquid-liquid extraction of low interinterface tension system, the performance is obviously better than Pall ring, to improve the mass transfer efficiency of more than 20%. When used for liquid-liquid extraction of medium interfacial tension system, the performance of this packing is obviously better than that of Pall ring packing. Flat ring packing is especially suitable for liquid-liquid extraction and gas-liquid mass transfer.
