The performance characteristics of
1, reduce the pressure drop: the metal ladder ring in the gas-liquid flow path gap, flux is large, can reduce the pressure drop.
2. Increase the capacity of the reactor: the increase of the capacity of the reactor is the direct cause of the reduction of pressure drop. The metal step ring keeps the reaction contacts away from the pressure drop contact with the overflow phenomenon, which means that more gas and liquid can be processed and the reactor capacity is increased.
3. Enhance antifouling ability: the pointing position of the metal ladder ring makes the gap on the direction of the gas and liquid flow reach the value, so any solid dirt can flow through the packing layer with the gas and liquid.
4, improve the reaction efficiency: the metal step ring limit its torus vertical rather than parallel, this design is used in the mass transfer advantage is more prominent. Because the reaction efficiency depends on the size of the contact surface. The design of the parallel surfaces prevents the inner side of the ring from contacting the liquid.
Packed tower is a type of tower equipment. The tower is filled with a filler of appropriate height to increase the contact surface between the two fluids. For example, when applied to gas absorption, the liquid enters through the distributor from the upper part of the tower and descending along the packing surface.
Gas from the lower part of the tower through the filler pore upstream, and close contact with the liquid and interaction. The structure is simple and the maintenance is convenient. Widely used in gas absorption, distillation, extraction and other operations. The gas is sent from the bottom of the tower, distributed by the gas distribution device (small diameter tower generally does not have gas distribution device), and the liquid is counter-current continuous through the gap of the packing layer, and on the packing surface, the gas-liquid two phases are in close contact for mass transfer.
Packed column is a continuous contact gas-liquid mass transfer equipment. The composition of two phases changes continuously along the height of the column. Under normal operation, the gas phase is continuous phase and the liquid phase is dispersed phase. The main purpose is to support the packing in the tower, and at the same time the gas-liquid two-phase smoothly through. If not properly designed, flooding of the packed column may occur first on the packed support device. The structure of the ladder ring packing is similar to that of the pall ring packing. The ring wall is provided with a rectangular hole, and there are two layers of cross-shaped blades of 45° staggered in the ring. The height of the ring is half of the diameter, and one end of the ring is flanged in the shape of a bell-mouth.
This structure makes the performance of the stepped ring packing on the basis of the pall ring and improved, the production capacity can be increased by about 10%, the pressure drop can be reduced by 25%, and because of the multi-point contact between the packing, bed uniform, better to avoid the phenomenon of groove flow. Stepped rings are generally made of plastic and metal and are widely used because of their superior performance to other fillers with holes in side walls.
