Pure copper pall ring packing is a kind of open ring packing with equal height and diameter. Each layer of window hole has 5 tongue leaves, each tongue leaf points to the inner bend of the ring center, the position of the upper and lower two layers of window holes is opposite stagger, and the general opening area accounts for about 30% of the total area of the ring wall. It has the characteristics of large voidage, low pressure drop and mass transfer unit height, high flood point, full vapor liquid contact, small specific gravity and high mass transfer efficiency. This structure improves the vapor-liquid distribution and makes full use of the inner surface of the ring, allowing the gas and liquid in the packed column to pass freely through the window. Pall ring packing has the advantages of large flux, small resistance, high separation efficiency and large operation elasticity. Under the same pressure reduction, the handling capacity can be more than 50% larger than that of Laci ring. It is made of thin metal plate, and two rows of window holes with inner extension lingual blades are cut out on the ring wall. Each row of Windows has five lingual blades bent into the ring, pointing to the center of the ring, and almost match each other in the center. The positions of the upper and lower two Windows are staggered each other. The gas and liquid distribution and mass transfer performance in the packing layer are better than those in the Lacey ring because of many window holes in the ring wall. At the same processing capacity, the pressure reduction can be reduced by half, and the mass transfer efficiency can be increased by about 20%. Compared with Laxi ring, this packing has the characteristics of large production capacity, small resistance, large operation elasticity, and so on. The pressure drop is 50%-70% smaller than Laxi ring in the same treatment, and the tower height also has a pressure drop. The use of Pall ring can be about 20%-40% packing volume than Laxi link.
● Bauer ring is greatly improved on the Laci ring. Although the outer diameter of the ring is also equal to the height, two rows of Windows with protruding tongues are cut out on the ring wall. Each layer of window hole has 5 tongues. This structure improves the gas-liquid distribution and makes full use of the inner surface of the ring. Compared with Laxi ring, the handling capacity can be increased by more than 50%, while the pressure can be reduced by half.
● Generally, the opening area accounts for about 30% of the total area of the ring wall. Without increasing the surface area of the packing, the gas-liquid two-phase flow in the packing layer is greatly improved, and the hydrodynamics and mass transfer performance of the packing are improved.
